How to find us
The Conference Centre at St. John's is uniquely situated in its own private parkland setting in the attractive and historic village of Bramcote, with easy access to Nottingham City centre approximately 5 miles away and only 5 minutes from Junction 25 M1.
The City of Nottingham is approximately 5 miles away and is a very lively and stimulating place, combining all the benefits of a large City with easy access to surrounding, scenic countryside destinations such as Sherwood Forest, The Dukeries and the Peak District National Park.
With excellent shopping centres and fashionable boutiques, Nottingham also boasts two fine theatres, a concert hall and a variety of museums. Its numerous sporting venues include the National Ice Centre and the National Watersports Centre.
To the west, Derby is less than 20 minutes drive with an excellent modern shopping centre and the attractive Cathedral quarter.
Leisure facilities nearby to the Conference Centre include 2 sports centres, one with a swimming pool, and the National Tennis Centre is located just 2 miles away. The historic Wollaton Park and Hall and Attenborough Nature Reserve are also close at hand.
By Car - From the south, west and north, take the M1 to Junction 25, follow signs for A52 Nottingham. At the second islend, keep in the left lane. Drive round the island keeping in the middle lane marked B'cote leaving by the fourth exit up Town Street. Follow the road through narrow right and left hand bends. You will find the entrance to St John's is 50 metres after the left hand bend. The first entrance is for the visitors' car park and reception, the main car park is the second entrance a further 50 metres down the road.
From the east, use the Ring Road/A52 and follow signs for Derby. Once the road becomes a six-lane carriageway, the Bramcote roundabout is the next one. Turn hard left at this roundabout, then up the hill, through the right and left bends and down to the College entrance as above.
By Train - If possible, travel to Beeston. From here you can hire a taxi or catch a bus direct to St John's (Trent Barton Numbers 18 or 32 pass St John's)
From Nottingham Midland Station taxi’s will be more expensive. The bus station at the Broadmarsh Centre is a five-minute walk and well sign posted.

By Air - Nottingham East Midlands Airport is approximately 15 miles from the college, and involves a 25-minute taxi ride. Ryanair, Jet2, and other airlines serve the airport.
